Our Mission

SES ignites a deep passion for space sciences by providing a clear, structured path for exploration and research. As IIT Bhilai’s only dedicated space society, we empower future astrophysicists, aerospace engineers, and space enthusiasts to turn their ambitions into reality.

What We Do

We drive innovation and learning through two core pillars:

• Astronomy & Astrophysics: Immersive stargazing sessions, celestial event tracking, astrophysical research and engaging science communication.
• Aeromodelling & Aerospace: Hands-on rocket propulsion projects, air dynamics studies, rover & satellite prototyping and sustainable aerospace exploration.

Beyond our projects, SES actively participates in national competitions, conducts expert-led workshops and maintains a dynamic research archive.
